News
- We have opened a new beauty salon and have a full time therapist,
Chariska Laubscher, who trained at the Isa Carstens International School of
Beauty in Stellenbosch. Chariska is a local young lady from Bredasdorp and
takes tremendous pride in her new job. We stock Vitaderm and Gatineau
beauty products and offer a range of massages and all the usual beauty treatments.
- Assisting Sue in the kitchen is Nicole Concer, also from Bredasdorp
- both ladies kicking up a storm with our new Malawian addition to the team,
Mc Fallen Thundu who is responsible for the scullery and garden. John
Mahone, also from Malawi is in charge of all beverages and service in the restaurant and has been with us for nearly five years.
- Our daughter Chelsea, who is at school in Caledon (grade 11) has
just achieved 96% for her practical cooking exam in her hospitality
management and a total of 90% for combined theory and practical. She wants
to follow in her mom's footsteps And is clearly on the right path!
- The lodge is celebrating it's 10th anniversary on the 28th July 2007
and we are grateful and thankful to all our loyal guests and friends who have supported us over the past decade - a very very BIG thank you from Phil and Sue and the team.

- The Yearly Yellowtail Festival is once again held in Struisbaai from 29 February to 02 March 2008.
